A student less than 80% attendance shall not be eligible for the annual examination of BISE Peshawar
Student's name will not be forwarded for the BISE examination unless he produces dues clearance chit from Accounts Office
A Student, who is eligible to appear in the examination, but not taking examination for any reason whatever shall be considered to have failed
Unfair Means (UFM) case against a student may result in cancellation of his paper or examination or admission
A student absenting him-self from any of home exam shall be fined Rs. 500/- per subject
Principal of the college shall hold the power to detain any student on account of results in home exams or attendance or breach of discipline
A student shall be exempted from an examination only on account of serious illness on the advice & recommendation of an authorized medical officer. Such a student will, however, be bound to take the examination after his recovery
Students are required to obtain at least 50% marks in all home examinations otherwise they shall liable to be detained.
Monthly Test Policy
Due importance is given to monthly tests at ICMS College System & tests are conducted according to the following procedure:
Monthly tests are held regularly throughout the academic year at the end of every month.
This test is both for 1st year and 2nd year classes.
Two or three days are reserved for this purpose (monthly test) every month.
Test papers are made according to the course taught during this duration.
No student shall be exempted from any test, except in case of serious illness or emergency. Such students shall, however be bound to take test after his recovery from illness.
In case of remaining absent from any one of the tests, the student will be fined according to the fine policy set by the examination committee.
Pass percentage (%) in each subject is 50%.
The subject teacher may take class test / surprise test besides monthly tests.
Examination Committee has the final authority to change any rules regarding monthly test & committee’s decision will be consider s final in case of any issue related to monthly test.
* In addition to monthly test the subject teacher is desire to take weekly or fort night test.
Home Examinations Policy
Date for home exam is displayed two weeks before the commencement of exam.
Two exams are held during the session, 1st term exam is held in the month of December, 2007 while the 2nd term (Pre-Board) is held in the month of February 2008.
Students are required to obtain at least 50% marks in each paper otherwise he may be considered as failed.
Those who fail will have to reappear in the concerned paper, further he will have to deposit Rs. 500/- as per paper charge.
Any student who remains absent in any one or more papers will be considered as failed. In such case, student will have to deposit Rs. 1,000/- per paper as a fine. A student who remains absent from full exam i-e, three papers will be struck-off from the college. He will be re-admitted only once according to the re-admission policy of the college.
Duration for each paper will be two hours however the time may be increased or decreased if required.
Grading system is as follows:
80% and above______________ A+
70%_____79%______________ A
60%_____69%______________ B
50%_____59%______________ C
Below 50% ______________Fail
Students availing merit scholarships granted by ICMS–CS will have to maintain their actual grades in home examination awarded to them by their concerned boards. (At least 80%)
9. Students appearing in home examinations (1st and 2nd term) will have to clear their dues and fines (if any) before the commencement of exams. Clearance slip will be issued to students and their entry in the examination hall will be possible on the basis of clearance slip.
Tearing, cheating and use of any other unfair means are liable to punitive action.
