About Admission
Rules & Regulations

The management of ICMS College System for Boys reserves the right to change any of the rules and regulations given in this prospectus without prior notice.

Students are required to read, know and abide by the rules and regulations mentioned in this prospectus. Ignorance of rules and regulations shall be no excuse for any violation. Any change /addition/modification if made in rules and regulations of the institute after publication of this prospectus shall be binding on all students/applicants.

The management reserves the right to make any change in syllabus and examination for students or notified by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Peshawar and Board of Technical Education Peshawar at any time during the course of studies.

In all cases, where these regulations are silent or where there is difference of opinion about their interpretation, the matter will be referred to the respective committees and its decision shall be considered as final in all respects.

The college management will report to the parents about the progress of their children which will clearly indicate the students attendance record and home examination record.

Parents Teachers Meeting shall be arranged at the end of January to discuss the overall performances of their children/wards.

  1. Admission will open just after the declaration of result of S.S.C.
  2. At least 45% passing marks in S.S.C.
  3. We believe in education for all, no entry test and no merit just passed but not 3rd division.
  4. A copy of prospectus can be obtained from the office on making a payment of Rs. 500/- during working hours.
  5. The number of admission to the each discipline shall be determined by the college administration and admission shall be made in accordance with the procedure and polices laid down by ICMS College System Management.
  6. The admission form must be supported by the photo copies of the following documents along with two (2) passport size recent photographs of the candidate.
    Provisional certificate of the last Institution attended (Matric / O' Level)
    Verified Detailed Marks Certificate of the last examination passed
    Character Certificate from the institute last attended
    Migration Certificate in case the candidate has passed the last examination from board other than Peshawar Board.
    Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate (if applicable)
    Domicile Certificate
    National I.D Card of the father/guardian.
    Candidate applying for admission in first year should have attained the age of 14 years while the upper age limit is 20 years.
  7. The candidates who are declared as failed by their respective boards in one or more subjects are not eligible for admission.
  8. However, Student can join the college as a learner and can attend the classes as all the regular students attend them. But he can't claim board registration through ICMS College System.

  9. A learner will be able to appear in the board exam as a private candidate and has to submit his form by himself.
  10. Dates of interview for the different categories shall be intimated by the office at the time of the submission of form and will also be notified on the college notice board.
  11. Candidate who is convicted for a criminal offence by any court of law is not eligible for admission.
  12. The admission will be finalized by admission committee to keep uniformity in the admission procedure.
  13. Admission form must be on original printed form which is attached in the prospectus.
  14. Admission granted by the admission committee shall be provisional and will not carry any confirmation until it is confirmed by the Principal from BISE Board.
  15. In order to confirm admission provisionally the applicants must deposit all required fee to the account section on or before due date.
  16. Students from abroad with the requisite educational qualification in the relevant subjects shall be granted admission as per procedure of the B.I.S.E Peshawar.
  17. The admission granted to the students in any class/section shall be finalized by the admission committee.
  18. If the applicant fabricates or hides any facts in his application will lead to cancellation of his admission.
  19. Students applying for admission, after a year or more of the declaration of S.S.C result will have to produce an affidavit that he had not been previously admitted in any other college and he is availing first opportunity of admission in college or did not appear in any board examination as a private candidate.
  20. The applicant must make sure that his course/subjects selection is Correct.

Every student is bound to observe religious obligation and respect religions, beliefs, custom and traditions of other students.

Every student must be loyal to Pakistan, ideology of Pakistan and integrity of the motherland.

Every student must be polite and well-behaved with his fellow students and teachers.

Every student should pledge to keep his mind and body clean and must have good manners.

Every student should develop the spirit to help and serve his fellow students.

Student must receive his education with dedication, zeal and enthusiasm.

Each and every student must serve the nation according to the slogan of ICMS.

Rules for Change of Discipline (Pre-Medical to Pre-engineering and vice versa)

Students can change their subjects within two weeks time after the commencement of classes in case of availability.

If he wants to change after due date, Rs. 5,000/- will be paid for subject or section change.

After one month students will not be permitted to change their subjects.

The above change is possible only if the principal agrees to it.

Attendance & Leave Rules

80% attendance of every student is compulsory in each subject. Falling short of the required percentage students are liable to be struck off from the college enrolment according to the defined policy.

Students must send a written leave application to the principal duly signed by his parent/guardian or by the warden in case of boarders.

Only one day leave is allowed in a month. More than one day leave application shall be entertained on the personal request of student's parent/guardian.

Sick leave application of more than two days must be supported by valid medical certificate.

Sanctioned leave will not be accepted as an excuse for short attendance.

Student missing a lecture with out prior permission will be fined Rs. 100/- per lecture.

Any student who remains absent for six consecutive days shall be struck off from the college enrolment according to the college struck off policy.

Students once struck off shall be re-admitted according to the re-admission policy and his name shall be displayed on the notice board.

Principal will have the final authority to accept or reject leave applications and to change any of the above mentioned rules during the session.

No short leave is allowed however in emergency cases, students will have to consult Chief Mediator/Principal who will consider their case after making calls to their parents/guardian.

Class teacher can grant one day leave where as leave for more than one day will be granted by the principal.

Hostel students must get permitted by Hostel warden for any type of leave prior to final approval.

Proctorial Board

To keep check and balance inside the premises of the college a Proctorial Board consisting over various mediators is formed simply avoid misunderstanding among the students and the teachers.

Discipline is of prime concern. Students are controlled through Proctorial board headed by chief mediator, Deputy Chief Mediator and Asst. Chief Mediator directly assist the Chief Mediator. Chief Mediator is the head of Disciplinary Committee, among lecturers while Deputy Chief and Asstt. Chief' are nominated by the Chief Mediator and Disciplinary Committee.

Identity Card

It is binding upon every student admitted in ICMS College System to obtain the college identity card within 10 days of the admission.

College Identity Cards are issued to all the students at the start of session.

Students are required to keep their ID cards with themselves during the college hours.

Every student is required to display college identity card with the in college premises.

Ignorance or no display of cards is subject to fine of Rs.50/- per day.

If College Identity Card is lost or spoiled, the student has to submit written explanation to the Chief Mediator. New card will be issued to such the after the inquiry, student on payment of Rs.300/-

For security purposes, students are always required to display their cards at various college gatherings such as debate competitions, funfairs, music shows etc. Furthermore, entry will be possible at the venue of any gathering only on showing of the Student Identity Card.

At the end of session, all the students are required to return their cards to the administration on a notified date.
